Warren Fu pops up in the Guardian

Hot off the weekend presses, The Guardian have profiled Warren Fu in their music section. There’s some great background trivia on Warren, like his humble Star Wars upbringing, creating evil droid generals, and recreating the French New Wave, which would make it the French New New Wave, I guess? In any case, check it out at the Guardian site.

Jeremy Konner discovers remarkable Majestic Plastic Bag, mocks it

To much internet jubilation, Jeremy Konner has released ‘The Majestic Plastic Bag’, a nature-mockumentary for Heal the Bay, highlighting the issues behind the California Plastic Bag Ban bill. Featuring the voice of Academy Award-winner Jeremy Irons, the film has been receiving quite a bit of coverage online.

The film follows the epic journey a single Majestic Plastic Bag makes to its home, the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. A resilient little creature, the Majestic Plastic Bag faces what would seem like insurmountable obstacles — seriously, who knew a Teacup Yorkie could be so vicious? — but in the end, it prevails (oops, spoiler alert).

So far, it’s been covered by Huffington Post, New York Magazine, Guardian, Boing Boing, LA Times, LA Weekly, Fast Company, top story on Shots and pick of the day at Creativity. However, much like the Majestic Plastic Bag itself, you’ll probably start seeing it everywhere.
